PATUNDAS, HUNZA
Patundas trek is one of the most popular treks in upper Hunza Valley.
Patundas is a summer pasture situated between the Batura and Passu glacier at an altitude of 4170m. The trek starts at Borit Lake and goes through Passugar, Luzhdar and Patundas and along the glaciers. It leads to Patundas Meadows from where the trekker will have a bird’s eye view of fascinating peaks of Hunza including Shisper, Passu, Baltar, Batura one, Karoon Koh and Dastagil SAR; witnessing the snow covered peaks floating over and among the suspended fog and mist.

THALAY LA, SKARDU
Thalay La trek in the foot hills of great Karakoram is one of the most popular and non-glaciated short trek in Baltistan region which meander through Khaplu and Shiger Valleys. These Valleys are very popular for fruit orchards and lush green beauty full of alpine flowers during the summer. The trekking trails runs along the glacial streams and shepherd herds and flower filled pastures. Shiger and Khaplu are also base for climbing peaks of central Karakorum peaks.

BURGI LA, SKARDU
Burji la (4816m), the old British route between Srinagar and Skardu, is a snow-covered north-south pass between the Skardu Valley and Deosai Plains. From the pass, only 16km south of, but some 2600m above, Skardu, K2, the Gasherbrums and Masherbrum are distantly visible. Burji La combines breath taking views of the Baltoro Muztagh with the magnificent Deosai Plains.

RAKAPOSHI BASE CAMP
Ranked 27th highest in the world, the snow-covered aesthetic of Rakaposhi is celebrated as ‘Mother of Mist’ (Dumani). One glance at its might and the speculative observer comes to appreciate the wonders of the Karakoram – it’s ruggedness, the blackness of its rock covered under the blankets snow, as the world’s highest battle-field, as a natural heritage that connects three nations. Rakaposhi, a 7,800-meter-high peak, is notable for its exceptional rise over local terrain. On the north, it rises 19,357 ft in only an 11.2 km (7 mi) horizontal distance from the Hunza-Nagar River. There are views of Rakaposhi from the Karakoram Highway on the route through Nagar Valley.
